This spongy vanilla cake is a great base for so many creations. This vanilla cake is made using vanilla and rose essence and baking powder, it is light and fluffy and full of vanilla flavor. It is the easiest homemade cake you will make !!!!! Try giving the sponge a small press. If it springs back, this is a sign it is cooked. This cake is quick and simple to make and perfect for making birthday really special.

Ingredients;
All purpose flour ( Plain flour ) – 200g
Ground sugar ( powdered sugar ) – 235g
Oil – 6 tbsp ( Half bowl )
Milk – 5 tbsp
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Rose essence – 1 tsp
Baking powder – 3 tsp
Ghee ( butter ) – 1 tsp
Tutti fruti – Half bowl ( 5 g )
Eggs – 3

Method;

* Apply ghee into the baking mould and preheat oven to 180
* Take a big bowl and beat 3 eggs for 5 minutes.
* Add ground sugar and mix it for 5 minutes.
* Add oil and mix it for few seconds.
* Add all purpose flour and mix it for 5 minutes.
* Add milk and mix it well.
* Add vanilla and rose essence and mix it well.
* At last add baking powder and mix it well.
* Add half tutti fruti amd mix in it.
* Pour mixture into baking mould.
* Add the remaining tutti fruti on it and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
* After 30 minutes, check the cake with the skewer ti see if it is under-cooked.
* Enjoy the spongy vanilla cake.
